Our wild horse experience will be at Ecotura. Ecotura is located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, home of the Garrano, Portugal's wild horses.

Our wild horse experience will be at Ecotura. Ecotura is located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, home of the Garrano, Portugal's wild horses.
The founders of Ecotura are passionate about preserving the Garrano and their predator, the Iberian wolf. Pedro Alarcão, one of the owners, is a photojournalist. He's completed a documentary about the wolves of Portugal.
We'll spend part of our trip staying at an 18th century manor house, Casa Piellas.
The lovingly restored Casa Piellas is located in the village of Cabeceiras de Basto.

We travel to stunning locations, where in addition to finding wild horses, there is time set aside for mindfulness activities and equine coaching with domestic horses.
