In a time when the world often feels uncertain, this gathering offers space to step aside from the noise and remember something essential:
How to move through the world with awareness of its impermanence.
In other words, how to live like you are dying.

This gathering is for leaders, coaches, therapists, thinkers, and seekers who sense that the world is moving through a profound transition. It is for those seeking insight into how to navigate these times in the company of thoughtful, like-minded people.
Many of us feel that something old is ending, yet it is not always clear what comes next. Institutions shift, familiar narratives fracture, and the pace of change can easily pull us into cycles of fear, reaction, and uncertainty.
The Benevolent Gathering offers a place to pause within that turbulence and ask a deeper question:
How do we live consciously in times like these?
Over several days together in nature, we explore this question through a living map of awareness formed by three perspectives: Ego, Soul, and Shadow.
Supported by the wisdom of horses and the grounding presence of the natural world, participants are invited to observe how these dimensions shape our behavior, our energy, and our experience of life.
The exploration unfolds through three frameworks:
Together, these perspectives form a Trinity of Awareness—a living map that helps us recognize the forces shaping our lives and the deeper intelligence guiding our path.
This gathering is not about escaping the chaos of the world.
It is about learning how to walk beside it—aware of the turbulence, yet not consumed by it.
In times of uncertainty, small circles of thoughtful people matter. Within these circles, new perspectives emerge, courage grows, and the possibility of benevolent leadership begins to take shape.

• A clearer understanding of how Ego, Shadow, and Soul shape decisions and relationships
• Greater ability to remain steady and thoughtful during uncertain times
• Direct insight from working with horses as mirrors of authentic energy and leadership
• A renewed relationship with life’s impermanence
• Practical awareness that can influence how to live, lead, and show up in the world

Participants depart not only with memories of Costa Rica’s extraordinary landscapes but with a renewed awareness of life’s impermanence.
Over the course of the retreat, we have explored what it means to be human at the intersection of three forces:
Along the way, we have come to understand that these dimensions are not separate. They move together, continually shaping how we perceive, respond, grow, and evolve.
Together, they form a living map of consciousness and a deeper understanding of what it means to live like you are dying.
